V6-Lite software is for acquiring, viewing and manipulating images in a multi-document interface that allows you to view several images simultaneously. Not only do users have access to zoom, scroll, choice of LUT, and graphic and text annotations, but also to more specialized tools such as Display Context, which is particularly useful for greyscale-rich images with a greater than 8-bit dynamic range. It also includes basic measurement tools for intensity, such as histogram and luminescence along a line, and geometric measurement, such as distance, area, angle, etc. A separate window lets you view and manipulate data either numerically or as a graph. Based on a true spreadsheet, this window is a very powerful tool for processing and fine tuning data. V6-Xpert is professional imaging software dedicated to the processing and analysis of scientific images. It includes the V6-Lite image acquisition, viewing and manipulation features and provides the user with a rich library of algorithms accessed through interactive commands. To automate tasks, a macro builder records the code associated with actions such as processing commands, interface parameters, or the manipulation of numerical or graphical data. Actions are recorded in (Visual Basic), the universal programming language.

Adding compiled functions
You can enhance the Visilog library with calculation programs developed in C . A detailed procedure allows you to import these functions into the VBA environment and to access them as commands.
COM Protocol
The COM protocol allows you to access other installed software. For example, you can exchange data with other office applications such as Word or Excel, and run these applications from a Visilog Project to display numerical data, or to format or generate a report.
